More Questions Than Answers: From Indoctrination to Illumination

I’m not shy about who I am, what my wife means to me, or the outfits she wears that make the town whisper. At least I’m not trying to steal your partner while preaching purity.

I started writing on the Insights blog to explain why I ditched the Evangelical / Word of Faith / Prosperity Gospel racket. It grew teeth and started biting on its own.

Kind of like the planet: we’ve been trashing it for centuries, and now it’s spitting that garbage back at us. People mocked the “tree huggers” in the 60s—turns out they were right.

Forgive my ADHD—it wanders. I just chase it before it runs into traffic.

The Warning Shot

  • My Real Message: I’m a minister who won’t spoon-feed you crap. Think for yourself.
  • Looking For A Savior?: Learn to save yourself. Christ hinted at that.
  • Adult Indulgences: My faith allows it without shame.
  • Open to the Occult: I’ll explore other beliefs for truth. The big churches already claim a monopoly on heaven’s keys—I’m not buying.
  • Calling Out Churches: I’ve seen pagans act more Christlike. I take responsibility for my actions and don’t wait for a sky-god bailout.
  • Lifestyle: We’ve tried different relationship dynamics—not as permanent choices, but to understand each other’s quirks, traumas, and kinks.

We're Not Wolves In Sheep's Clothing. We Are The Wolves

Where we come from, wolves are sacred. They’re protected—unless they’re after the livestock. Our ancestors farmed to survive; some animals were food, some were family.

How Much Is Too Much?

Some think I overshare. Maybe I do. But in a quiet, isolated life, I can hear my wife without the world shouting over her. Humor keeps me sane, same as politics and spirituality.

Pull The Pin

If you dress up in religious or political drag, you’ve got no right telling others how to love, live, or survive - and insist they do as you command. Period.

I’ve been homeless, seen politics and scripture weaponized in churches and homeless shelters, dipped a toe in the Reform Party, and preached in Abundant Mercy Pentecostal—where my faith got both forged and fractured.

I’ve practiced Wicca—a nature-based, peace-first faith that will fight when pushed.

Dreams Are Messages From The Ancestral Watchers

Not proven, but in my life? Undeniable.

Dreams have guided me since childhood stories at my grandparents’ house. During Reagan’s presidency, I dreamt of the darkness we now see under Trump. Same fear, same screams—only now they’re real. I knew then our country was in trouble.

These days, I meditate before sleep and hope for peace—logic says I won’t get it under the current iron-fist crowd. I’m no MAGA disciple. I’ll stand with their opposition, pen in hand. Even when homeless, I was preparing for this fight—saving for a laptop, salvaging PCs from dumpsters, and booting up Ubuntu with help from my brother in Seattle.

Yes, my mind wanders. Not a bug. A feature.

Exploring Outside Of Approved Social Conditioning

Sacred Sexuality & Consent: An Academic Exercise in Spiritual Healing

Imagine, for a moment, that the very foundations of our understanding of sexuality and consent have been built upon shifting sands. These are not just abstract concepts but profound spiritual practices that have the power to heal the deepest wounds of psychological trauma and religious conditioning. As we embark on this academic exercise, let us draw inspiration from the insights of Jordan Peterson, the revelations of Jordan Maxwell, and the unflinching critical thinking of George Carlin.

Peterson might remind us that the path to true freedom begins with confronting the shadows within ourselves. He encourages us to question the narratives that have been imposed upon us, to dig beneath the surface of societal norms and discover the authentic truths that lie beneath. Maxwell, with his keen eye for hidden symbols and structures, might point out the ways in which our understanding of sexuality has been manipulated and controlled by those in power. And Carlin, with his characteristic wit, would likely urge us to question the absurdities of our social conditioning, to laugh in the face of the arbitrary rules that govern our intimate lives.

So, let us explore the concept of sacred sexuality and consent as a spiritual healing practice. By examining these themes through the lens of critical thinking and spiritual inquiry, we can begin to unravel the complex tapestry of our own beliefs and experiences. This exercise is not just about challenging the status quo; it is about reclaiming our power, our autonomy, and our ability to heal from the traumas that have shaped us. Join us as we delve into the depths of these profound practices, seeking the wisdom and insight that can lead us toward a more authentic and spiritually fulfilling existence.

The Path to Authentic Intimacy

Embrace Your Carnal Side

In the grand tapestry of human experience, the carnal side of our nature is not something to be shunned or feared, but rather embraced as a sacred expression of life. Jordan Peterson might remind us that confronting our shadow self is essential for personal growth, and Jordan Maxwell would point out the hidden codes and symbols that have long been used to suppress this natural aspect of our being. So, let us peel back the layers of societal conditioning and see the carnal as a spiritual practice, a way to heal the wounds of religious conditioning and psychological trauma.

As George Carlin once said, "We're born naked, and the rest is drag." It's a reminder that our true selves are often obscured by the trappings of society. By embracing our carnal nature, we can find a deeper connection to our authentic selves, unencumbered by the guilt and shame that so often accompany our most intimate desires.

The Most Sacred Exchange between Souls Is That Of Consent

The Divine Art of Consent

In the realm of spiritual healing, consent is the most profound and sacred exchange between souls. It is a testament to the power of trust, respect, and mutual understanding. Peterson's teachings on responsibility and self-discipline echo the importance of consent as a practice of personal integrity. Maxwell's insights into the hidden structures of power remind us that consent is not just about physical acts, but about the sacred space we create when we honor each other's boundaries and desires.

Carlin's sharp wit might point out that in a world full of rules and regulations, consent is the ultimate act of freedom. It is a practice that allows us to navigate the complexities of human connection with grace and authenticity. By embracing consent as a spiritual practice, we can heal from the traumas of the past and move forward into a future where our relationships are built on a foundation of trust and mutual respect.

Get Your Ass in Gear, Mortal

Tyr, one-handed and unyielding, calls you to keep your oath. Thor, storm-born and thunder-veined, calls you to strike without fear. Together they roar: "VAKNA, MANNKYN! — Wake, mankind!"

The work before you is no market errand — it is a task worthy of the skald’s ink and the gods’ gaze. Tyr’s missing hand reminds you: honor costs flesh. Thor’s hammer reminds you: excuses shatter faster than bones. The mead hall waits for no sluggard.

Call and Response of the Mead Hall

Tyr: "Stand and swear your oath!"
Mortals: "We swear and we stand!"

Thor: "Lift the hammer, feel the weight!"
Mortals: "We lift and we strike!"

Tyr: "Will you bleed for honor?"
Mortals: "We bleed and we fight!"

Thor: "Will you see it through the storm?"
Mortals: "We see and we endure!"

The Mead Hall’s Victory Chant

"Með Týrs heiðri! Með Þórs reiði!
(With Tyr’s honor! With Thor’s wrath!)
Við blæðum, við svitnum, við deyjum ei!
(We bleed, we sweat, we do not die!)
Lyft horn, verkið unnið —
(Raise the horn, the work is done —)
Salurinn er okkar, mjaðrinn unninn!"
(The hall is ours, the mead is won!)
